WILTON, CT — Police nabbed a Norwalk man they say was driving under the influence at twice the speed limit.
Wilton officers clocked a 1989 BMW 325i moving at 70 mph in a 35 mph zone on Danbury Road in the area of Ridgefield Road shortly after midnight on Dec. 14.
After pulling the Ankit Bhutani, 27, over, officers say they suspected him of DUI. He did not perform the Standardized Field Sobriety tests to standard and was placed under arrest. Following chemical testing, Bhutani's blood alcohol content was 0.1157 percent, according to police. In Connecticut, the legal blood alcohol content limit for driving is 0.08 percent for those 21 and older.
