The U.S. Food and Drug Administration or Department of Agriculture announced recalls on each of these products in the past week.
Here’s a list of recalls in the past week announced by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to help you monitor whether or not you’ve bought a recalled product that may endanger your or your family’s health or safety.
The list below shows recalls announced by the FDA in the past week, listed by date, brand name, type of food (if it isn’t clear from the name), reason for the recall (sometimes only a reasonable concern), producer (and stores where sold, when applicable) and with links for additional details about the recalled products:

- Feb. 4 — Joseph’s and Trader Joe’s Mini Whole Wheat Pita, Mini White Pita and White Lavash (EXPANDED RECALL) — Undeclared Soy — Middle East Bakery, Inc. — Joseph’s brand products sold in markets in Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, Massachusetts and Connecticut, and in the following stores: Market Basket, Stop & Shop, Shaw’s, Hannaford and Big Y; Trader Joe’s brand products sold only in Trader Joe’s stores in Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia, and Washington D.C. —

- Jan. 30 — Aloha Premium Protein Powder (chocolate and vanilla blends) — Staphylococcus enterotoxin — Project Health Living, Inc. of New York (d/b/a Aloha, Inc.) — sold nationwide from November 2014 through January 2015 —
- Jan. 30 — Like No Other Market Organic Cranberry Low Fat Granola — Undeclared Almond and Wheat — Sole Grano LLC — sold at 15 Fairway Stores in New Jersey, Connecticut and New York —
Not all products of a particular type and brand name were recalled — if you bought any of these items, check the FDA news release for additional details specifying the lots or sell-by dates to see if your purchase was recalled.
(The U.S. Department of Agriculture in the past week announced no recalls for food products sold in Connecticut.)
