Wilton Weather: Today's Calm Before This Weekend's Mini Storm

Find out when your outdoor plans this weekend in Wilton might get a bit damp and stormy.

WILTON, CT — As the last few weekends of summer approach, many will be planning backyard barbecues, pool parties and other outdoor fun. The National Weather Service predicts that Thursday and Friday's weather should be okay for outdoor plans, but this weekend looks a little shady, and wet.

"High pressure slowly slides offshore through Friday. The sinking air associated with the high should keep cloud cover at a minimum through then. Highs will run a few degrees below normal today, then near normal for lows tonight and highs on Friday," The NWS said.

A passing cold front ushers in a chance of showers and thunderstorms this weekend on Saturday, according to the NWS, and highs on Saturday should run a few degrees above normal.
