Power outages were reduced to .08 percent of town Thursday night.

CL&P crews were dispatched to Windsor Thursday afternoon after transmission problems caused upwards of 6,000 outages (45 percent of cutomers), and managed to reduce outages to 0.08 percent of Windsor customers by 7 p.m. Thursday night.

CL&P spokesman Mitch Gross said Thursday that the widespread outages had nothing to do with the snowstorm of October 29.
