Bajek, Simons: Recent Death Notices From Windsor

WINDSOR, CT — Here are some recent death notices from Windsor.

Stanley Bajek, 79, loving husband of 47 years of Diane (Veilleux) Bajek, died peacefully on March 31, 2025. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, and worked for many years in the automotive industry. He lived in Windsor most of his life. Stan enjoyed participating in many car shows and won many awards showing his 1967 Camaro. He was a great lover of dogs and enjoyed telling stories of his own past and his many past pets.

JoAnne (Simokitis) Simons, 82, of Suffield, passed on March 25, 2025 after a period of failing health. She graduated from Windsor High School in 1961 and from the University of Hartford in 1967 with a Bachelor of Science in secretarial science. She was married on May 3, 1969 to Charles W. Simons, and they shared 54 years together until his passing in Aug. 2023. JoAnne loved to putter in her flower gardens and always had a lovely vase of flowers in her home or to share with family and friends.
