Baram: An Opportunity for Windsor
The new majority House district is an opportunity for Windsor to elect a local representative, State Representative David Baram said.

A statement released by State Representative David Baram (D-Windsor, Bloomfield):
The new majority Windsor House District creates an opportunity for Windsor to elect a local representative. The population decrease in Hartford, resulting in the loss of one of its six Representatives, allowed the Redistricting Commission to carve out a new majority district for Windsor. This has been a goal of the Windsor Town Council for some time, so I am glad that circumstances allowed them to achieve this result.
I am extremely honored to have the privilege of representing the entire Town of Bloomfield. Representing all the residents of Bloomfield is a great honor, and I am excited about this opportunity. I will work tirelessly to promote Bloomfield's interests and to make sure that its residents receive the very best representation. I thank Bloomfield residents for their support and will continue to seek their trust and confidence.

During the last three years I have had the pleasure of developing close relationships and friendships with the elected officials, staff, business community, religious organizations, and civic groups of Windsor. I admire Windsor and truly care about it. I pledge my continued commitment to the community. Representative David Baram15th District (Bloomfield/Windsor)
