Boyer, Brown, Malone: Recent Death Notices From Windsor
Condolences are extended to the families and friends of those who have recently died.
WINDSOR, CT — Here are some recent death notices from Windsor.
Christine (Schoffstall) Boyer, 74, was gently called home to be with her Lord and Savior on May 9, 2025, surrounded by the love and presence of her family. In 1970, Christine married the love of her life, Ronald Boyer. Their marriage was a sacred union built on unwavering faith, mutual devotion, and the kind of steadfast love that Scripture calls us to embody. Ronnie’s sacrificial care and enduring strength were a source of comfort through every season of Christine’s life. Together, they raised a family Christine joyfully called “one of God’s masterpieces.”
Iley Brown, 65, was peacefully stilled on May 4, 2025, after a brief stay at Hartford Hospital. Upon graduating from Windsor High School in 1977, the military was his trajectory, believing he would have a life career in the Air Force, longing to see the world. Trained in plumbing, Iley soon discovered the local town contracted with his base for plumbing services. The only ‘world’ he saw was Columbus, Miss. He took flight home after his tenure of six years. His greatest military benefit from Mississippi was in meeting and later marrying the love of his life, Barbara. Iley was also employed by Hamilton Sundstrand in excess of 25 years.
