Campus Accomplishments By College Students From Windsor

WINDSOR, CT — Here are some recent notable accomplishments by local college students, as provided by readMedia Newswire. More great feats will be noted as they are received in the coming weeks.

Goodwin University, East Hartford CT

• Goodwin University's President's List for the fall 2024 session includes 266 students, all of who scored a perfect 4.0 GPA. Among them are Windsor residents Maria Minucci, Shirley Rodriguez, Veronica Dinkins, Miguel Acosta, Shivani Bhatt, Jazzlynn Singleton, Antonina Partain and Madonna King.
• Eleven students from Windsor achieved Dean's List status for the fall 2024 session. They are Kadisha Ledford, Dena Hall, Winsome Irizarry, Renegay Brown, Sara Putorak, Chhoti Sherpa, David Suarez, Amoy Williams, Meiko Cox, Betty Evans and Daquanna Moore. Dean's List inclusion requires a student to earn a minimum 3.5 GPA, the equivalent of an A- average, during a given academic session. The student must also be enrolled in a minimum of six academic credits to qualify.

Seton Hall University, South Orange NJ

• Olivia Beauvois, Sean Glick and Anaiyah Johnson, all of Windsor, qualified for the fall 2024 Dean's List. After the close of every semester, undergraduate students completing all courses with a GPA of 3.4, with no grades lower than "C", qualify for the Dean's List.

State University of New York, Cortland NY

• Brooklyn Moreno of Windsor was among the 2,971 students named to the Dean's List at SUNY Cortland for the fall 2024 semester. Moreno is studying sociology. The Dean's List is the highest ranking for undergraduate students in their respective academic areas of the university. Students must earn a minimum 3.3 grade point average for the semester to make the list.

Tufts University, Medford MA

• Tufts University recently announced the dean's list for the fall 2024 semester, including two honorees from Windsor: Evan Bygrave, Class of 2025, and Annie Shactman, Class of 2028. Dean's list honors at Tufts University require a semester grade point average of 3.4 or greater.

University of Tampa, Tampa FL

• Autumn Ager of Windsor earned dean's list honors at University of Tampa for the fall 2024 semester. Ager is a senior majoring in public health. Students must maintain a GPA of 3.75 or higher to be eligible for the dean's list.
