Cross Country to Take On CCC Foes

What you should know today, Thurs., Oct. 20, 2011.

1. WHS boys and girls cross country will close out their regular season today as they reace in a CCC Tournament race at Wickham Park.

2. This Thursday, rain will likely start your day. It will be partly cloudy in the afternoon with a high temperature of 70 degrees, according to The Weather Channel. Tonight will also be partly cloudy with a low temperature of  47 degrees.

3. Today is National Brandied Fruit Day. Various kinds of fruit such as Bing Cherries are preserved a brandy concoction, according to punchbowl.com.
