Dom's Broad Street Eatery Hosts Successful Fundraiser for Windsor Food & Fuel Bank
Support Especially Needed Now Due to Government Shutdown
Thanks to Dom's Broad Street Eatery in Windsor Center for hosting a successful October 26 breakfast/brunch community fundraiser and donating a portion of the sales to the Windsor Food & Fuel Bank! Owner Jason DiBella (pictured third from left) and his terrific team welcomed over 350 customers (dine-in and take out) in just 6 hours.
The Windsor Food & Fuel Bank, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, works to assure that no Windsor resident is hungry, cold, or without basic necessities. The generosity of local individuals, businesses, civic and religious organizations provides for 95 percent of the organization’s annual operating budget.
IMPORTANT NEWS: To assist residents affected by the federal government shutdown, Windsor Social Services with the Windsor Food & Fuel Bank has created a resource page at windsorct.gov/930 that will provide the latest updates on benefit availability, local and statewide food programs, and ways for residents to access assistance.
