Enfield Man Killed In Crash On I-91 In Windsor, ID Released

The victim's vehicle struck a tree, state police said.

WINDSOR, CT — Daniel Adam Jeannotte, 37, of Enfield was killed in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 91 early Sunday, state police said.

Jeannotte, who was driving a 2021 Honda CR-V, was traveling on I-91 northbound, on the exit 40 off-ramp, in the left lane of two in Windsor just after 2:30 a.m., state police said.

"For an unknown reason, Vehicle 1 veered to the left, crossed the left shoulder, and entered the grassy area to the left of the off-ramp," state police said in an accident summary. "Vehicle 1 then struck a tree in the grassy area to the left of the roadway. Operator 1 suffered serious life threatening injuries, and was pronounced deceased on scene."

This case remains under investigation, state police said.
