Farmer's Market, Tirebiter Band In Windsor Center

1. It's Thursday, so that mean that Windsor Center will be busy, busy, busy tonight, as town organizations collaborate to provide family-friendly entertainment for residents.

2. On the Town Green tonight, beginning at 7 p.m., the Tirebiter Band will be performing as a part of First Town Downtown and the Chamber of Commerce's Concerts on the Green series. The show is free.

3. The Farmer's Market will also be held in Windsor Center today. From 3:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m., the market will feature various vendors from throughout the region, including Newgate, Farms of Southern New England and Stefan Farms of Windsor, Swift Farm of Mansfield and more.

4. On this day in history, 1789, French revolutionaries stormed the Bastille, marking the start of the French Revolution.
