Efrain Garcia-Rivera, 76, husband of 51 years of Isabel Baez, passed away on March 2, 2025. He dedicated 45 years of his life to his work at the Nursery and Garden in Rocky Hill, where he was known for his unwavering commitment and expertise.
Shawn Rodriguez, 53, passed away Feb. 26, 2025. He was employed by Ross Express for over 30 years. He enjoyed working on cars and drag racing, especially his old Monte Carlo. He was an active participant and member of Valley Brook Community Church, where he enjoyed many strong relationships.

Karen (Hence) Savluk, 85, passed away on Feb. 26, 2025 with her two sons by her side. Karen’s passion at a young age was to become a hairdresser. She put herself through hairdressing school, then proceeded to cut and style hair for 30-plus years in the greater Hartford area; mainly at ‘Jenny’s’ in East Granby.
