*Information submitted by Clarence Williams Loomis Chaffee girls basketball opened its season Wednesday with a 41-24 win over Westminster at home. Sophomore Taylor Williams led Loomis scorers with 14 points. She also recorded 11 rebounds. Senior Chloe Alexander and junior Brooke Marchitto had 10 points each, and junior Maxine Offiaeli added 6 points. Brianna Malanga also scored 1 point. The girls will host Pomfret on Fri., Dec. 9 at 6 p.m.

Loomis Chaffee girls basketball opened its season Wednesday with a 41-24 win over Westminster at home. Sophomore Taylor Williams led Loomis scorers with 14 points. She also recorded 11 rebounds.

Senior Chloe Alexander and junior Brooke Marchitto had 10 points each, and junior Maxine Offiaeli added 6 points. Brianna Malanga also scored 1 point.

The girls will host Pomfret on Fri., Dec. 9 at 6 p.m.
