College of the Holy Cross, Worcester MA

  • Windsor residents Lily Borowiec, class of 2026 and Rachel Smith, class of 2025, were named to the College of the Holy Cross' Dean's List for outstanding academic achievement during the fall semester of the 2024-25 academic year. To qualify for the Dean's List, students must pass four or more letter-graded courses with no failing grades during the semester and earn a GPA of 3.5 or higher.

CT State Asnuntuck, Enfield CT

  • CT State Asnuntuck has announced that Windsor residents Shakara Francis, Raven Horne, Sarah Martin, William Nash and Trevor Roy have achieved Dean’s List status following their fall 2024 semester of studies. Full-time students, who are matriculated in a certificate or degree program and who have completed 12 or more credits in a semester, with a grade point average of 3.4 or above are named on the list. Part-time students who have matriculated in a certificate or degree program are also eligible for recognition when they have completed 12 or more credits with a grade point average of 3.4.

Eastern Connecticut State University, Willimantic CT

  • 31 students and two faculty members at Eastern Connecticut State University were inducted into Eastern's chapter of the Omicron Delta Kappa (ODK) Leadership Honor Society on March 2 in the Student Center Betty Tipton Room. The inductees were chosen based on their commitment to leadership within the campus and in their own communities. Among the inductees was Victoria Daye of Windsor, a senior majoring in health sciences.

  • Bonnie Fineman of Windsor was recently elected to membership into the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation's oldest and most selective all-discipline collegiate honor society, at the University of Kentucky. Membership is by invitation only and requires nomination and approval by a chapter. Only the top 10 percent of seniors and 7.5 percent of juniors are eligible for membership.
