The National Weather Service has issued a special weather statement for Hartford County and areas extending into Massachusetts, Rhode Island and throughout Connecticut. According to Weather Service's report warns of patches of ice that may have accumulated overnight. Motorists, the Weather Service said, are "urged to use caution for the commute this morning as a combination of wet roads and freezing temperatures will lead to patches of ice along roadways. Motorists are also urged to keep a safe distance between vehicles while driving.

The National Weather Service has issued a special weather statement for Hartford County and areas extending into Massachusetts, Rhode Island and throughout Connecticut.

According to Weather Service's report warns of patches of ice that may have accumulated overnight. Motorists, the Weather Service said, are "urged to use caution for the commute this morning as a combination of wet roads and freezing temperatures will lead to patches of ice along roadways.

Motorists are also urged to keep a safe distance between vehicles while driving.
