Windsor residents and business owners will be able to dispose of any waste that is a result of Tropical Storm Irene at the Windsor/Bloomfield Landfill for free, town officials said Monday. There will be no curbside pickup of debris. The free disposal period will not include household waste, officials added. The landfill, located at 500 Huckleberry Road, will be open from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Saturday. The free Irene-waste period will last from Mon., Aug 29 through Sat., Sept. 10.
