Remembering the JFK Assassination
48 years ago today, President John F. Kennedy was assassinated. Where were you when you heard the news?

November 22 will be known forever as a day of infamy in American history. It was on this date in 1963 that President John F. Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas, Texas.
Most Americans over age 50 remember where they were when they received the news that the president had been murdered. Patch would like our readers to share their stories of where they were at the time and their recollections of that terrible day.
Just days prior to the 1960 election, then-Sen. Kennedy made a campaign swing through northern Connecticut, stopping briefly in Enfield on the Hartford-Springfield Expressway (now known as Interstate 91). Enfield resident Edward Malley snapped several pictures of Kennedy that day, one of which is published here courtesy of the late photographer's son, James Malley.
