Shining Stars On Campus: Great Feats By College Students From Windsor

American International College, Springfield MA

• American International College congratulates student-athlete Claudier Albert of Windsor for induction into the Athletic Director's 3.0 Club for the fall 2023 semester. In a ceremony held at the Butova Gymnasium on February 14, 2024, Athletics Director Jessica Chapin honored Albert as among more than three hundred student-athletes who have achieved a commendable cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher during their tenure at AIC. Albert is majoring in public health.

Bryant University, Smithfield RI

• Devahya Townsend, of Windsor, has been named to Bryant University's Deans' List for fall 2023 in recognition of academic excellence. To earn a place on the Deans' List, students must have a GPA of 3.4 or better for at least 12 semester hours of work.

Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester NY

• Two students from Windsor were named to the Dean's List at Rochester Institute of Technology for the fall semester of the 2023-2024 academic year. They are Noah Kiehne, who is in the individualized program, and Christopher West, who is in the software engineering program. Full-time degree-seeking undergraduate students are eligible for Dean's List if their term GPA is greater than or equal to 3.400; they do not have any grades of "Incomplete", "D" or "F"; and they have registered for, and completed, at least 12 credit hours.

Tufts University, Medford MA

• Evan Bygrave, Class of 2025, of Windsor, was named to the dean's list at Tufts University for the fall 2023 semester. Dean's list honors at Tufts University require a semester grade point average of 3.4 or greater.

University of Saint Joseph, West Hartford CT

• University of Saint Joseph undergraduate students who earned their way to the Dean's List for the fall 2023 semester include Windsor residents Rachel Acevedo Gabin, Vanessa Cortez, Nahriel Gelly, Lyndsey Irizarry, Brittany Pacheco, Daniela Rivera, Jade Robinson, Carmen Siaca and Jazlynn Villanueva. Students were awarded this academic achievement for having earned a GPA of 3.50 or higher for the semester, with no grade lower than a "B."
