Bob Jones University, Greenville SC

  • Johanna Clark, a English major at Bob Jones University, recently earned the Global Seal of Biliteracy after successfully completing the AVANT 4S Assessment. Clark is a resident of Windsor. The Global Seal of Biliteracy validates language skills and expands future opportunities for its recipients. It offers three levels of certification: Functional Fluency, Working Fluency, and Professional Fluency, each serving a meaningful purpose in our increasingly diverse and interconnected world. Available in over 100 languages, the Global Seal of Biliteracy has been issued by employers, universities, and secondary schools in over 30 countries and five continents.

  • Eastern Connecticut State University inducted 32 students into the Omicron Delta Kappa (ODK) leadership honor society on March 3. ODK is a national leadership honor society for college students who have exemplified outstanding academic conduct and active involvement in campus organizations. Among the students was Raeann Reid of Windsor, a junior majoring in health sciences.

Endicott College, Beverly MA

  • Endicott College, the first college in the U.S. to require internships of its students, is pleased to announce its fall 2023 Dean's List students, including Windsor residents Mia Fitzsimmons, Luke Rice and Harrison Sawka. In order to qualify for the Dean's List, a student must obtain a minimum grade point average of 3.5, receive no letter grade below "C," have no withdrawal grades, and be enrolled in a minimum of 12 credits for the semester.
