Tips for Packing Your Student's Bagged Lunch
Sure, the brown bag is boring, but that doesn't mean everything inside it has to be.

1. When sending your student off to school, bagged lunch in hand, it's difficult to pack things that are nutritious and thing you're sure will be eaten... by them. AOL's KitchenDaily.com interviewed a few moms about packing lunches to pick up a few tips. Here's what they offered up:
- When packing fruits, make sure to cut them up and peel them. Doing so will give your student fewer excuses not to eat them.
- If you're packing veggies, try packing a healthy dip to go along with them. The active dipping can be fun for a young student.
- If you have the time, make packing lunches an activity. This way, your student can have a hand in making his or her own lunch and you'll have a better chance of getting nutritious things in the bag that they'll like.
