WINDSOR, CT — National Night Out, an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make neighborhoods more caring places to live, returns to the Windsor town green Tuesday from 5-8 p.m.

Hosted by the Windsor Police Department, "National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. Furthermore, it provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances," according to a post on the department's Facebook page.

Families can look forward to a delightful array of activities, including ax throwing, football, dunk tank, hula hoop contest, uplifting music and complimentary food and beverages.
