Windsor Resident Killed In Farmington Highway Crash
A Windsor woman was killed in a harrowing crash in I-84 in Farmington Tuesday, state police said.

FARMINGTON, CT — A crash on Interstate 84 in Farmington Tuesday night claimed the life of a 20-year-old Windsor woman, state police said.
The crash took place in Interstate 84 at 7:13 p.m.
According to a state police crash report, a 2020 Jeep Compass was traveling in the center westbound lane of I-84 between exits 38 and 37. A 2003 Toyota Camry was traveling in the left-lane, also between exits 38 and 37.

On the eastbound side of the highway at the same time, a 2004 Chrysler PT cruiser was in the left lane between exits 37 and 39, as was a 2007 Ford F150 truck, according to a crash report.
The truck and the PT Cruiser collided and the Ford crossed the center median and struck the Camry in the left lane on the westbound side, according to a crash report. The Camry was pushed into the center lane and collided with the Jeep, according to a crash report.

Multiple injuries reported were reported, state police said. The driver of the Camry, 20-year-old Windsor resident Nia Justice, succumbed to her injuries after being taken to Hartford Hospital, according t a crash report. A passenger in the Camry, 22-year-old Chancellor Ross, of Hartford, was transported to St. Francis Hospital with life-threatening injuries, according to a crash report.
