WINDSOR, CT — Summer is almost over for students in the Windsor public school system, and the 2024-25 calendar has been posted.
The first day of school in Windsor is scheduled for Aug. 26. Professional development is slated for three days on Aug. 21-23.
The last day is slated for June 6.

- Sept. 2: Labor Day
- Sept. 23: Professional development (no school)
- Oct. 14: Indigenous Peoples Day
- Nov. 5: Professional development (no school)
- Nov. 27-29: Thanksgiving recess
- Dec. 23-Jan. 1: Winter recess
- Jan. 20: Martin Luther King Jr. Day
- Feb. 11: Professional development (no school)
- Feb. 17-18: Winter recess/Presidents Day
- April 14-18: Spring break/Good Friday
- May 26: Memorial Day
