Windsor Students Named AP Scholars at Northwest Catholic
Four students were named AP scholars.
The College board recently announced that four Windsor residents, studying at Northwest Catholic, have been named AP Scholars for 2011, based on exceptional achievement on Advanced Placement exams.
Windsor's Sharon Grimshaw, Christopher Kuhlberg, Cara Seward and Mark Mossberg were the four Windsor residents recognized for their academic achievement.
NWC had 11 AP Scholars with Distinction; three AP Scholars with Honor; and 12 AP Scholars. To see the complete list of students, visitwww.northwestcatholic.org/honors.

An AP Scholar with Distinction earned an average grade of 3.5 on all AP Exams taken, and a grade of 3 or higher on five or more of the tests; an AP Scholar with Honor earned an average grade of at least 3.25 on all AP Exams taken, and a grade of 3 or higher on four or more of the exams; and an AP Scholar earned scores of 3 or higher on three or more AP Exams).
Since 1961, NWC’s mission has been to educate the whole person: mind, body, spirit, and soul. The school has begun accepting applications for the Class of ’16, and prospective families are invited to attend a regional Information Session in October (www.northwestcatholic.org/infosessions) or the school’s Open House on Sunday, Nov. 6, from 1-4 p.m.
