17-Year-Old Killed In Woodbury Head-On Crash
The teen died at the scene while one other driver suffered minor injuries and was taken to the hospital, police said.
WOODBURY, CT — A 17-year-old is dead following a head-on crash in Woodbury Saturday night, according to a report released by Connecticut State Police Sunday morning.
The teen, Tristan Ocasio of Bethlehem, was driving north on Route 6 around 8:45 p.m. when he veered from his lane and hit a vehicle that was heading south, police said.
After hitting the first vehicle, Ocasio struck another vehicle head on, police added.

Region 14 Superintendent of Schools Brian Murphy told NBC CT that Ocasio was a senior at Nonnewaug High School and was a "wonderful student and uplifting."
