Brush Fire In Woodbury Doused By Woodbury & Southbury Firefighters
The fire was reported Tuesday afternoon, according to officials.
WOODBURY, CT — A brush fire on Transylvania Road in Woodbury Tuesday was extinguished with the help of Southbury firefighters, according to authorities.
No injuries were reported in the fire, which was reported just after 2 p.m.
The fire may have been caused by downed wires in the area.

"Southbury and Woodbury crews quickly extinguished the brush fire utilizing master streams," Southbury officials wrote on Facebook. "Crews returned to service in town at 3:06 [p.m.]."
