Learn About Romance at Tapping Reeve House
Romance in the 1800s was a little different than it is now. Come see how different at the Tapping Reeve House in February.

Get in the romantic mood with a tour exploring romance and courtship during the Early Republic at the Tapping Reeve House on Tuesday, February 9 and Thursday, February 11 at 7 p.m.
Learn more about relationships in the Reeve Family, as well as between Female Academy and Law School students. Love and courtship during the Early Republic was very different from today’s practices.
Come explore their customs for wooing sweethearts. Following the tour, enjoy light refreshments and sweets generously donated by the Litchfield Candy Company.
