Nonnewaug NFL Flag Football Registration Open for Fall 2020
Area Boys and Girls Entering Grades K-8 are Welcome to Join the Woodbury-Based Flag Football League. Registration deadline is Aug. 21.
Woodbury Parks & Recreation is launching an NFL Flag Football program this fall, and children from Woodbury, Middlebury, Southbury, and surrounding communities are invited to participate.
Children will be placed on teams based on their grade and the community they live in. Games will be played on Sundays in Woodbury, and there will be 1-2 practices per week based on field availability. Practices will begin on or around Aug. 31, and the season will end around Nov. 15.
Team roster sizes will be kept small to give all kids maximum playing time. An official NFL flag football jersey and a set of flags is included with each child’s fee. Current State and CDC rules will be followed for this program.
