• Animal rights group wants dog-walking law in Delaware (capegazette.com) — A proposed statewide dog-walking law is being pushed to Delaware’s Democratic leaders, including New Castle’s House Speaker Melissa Minor-Brown, that would require three walks a day for dogs, with one lasting at least an hour. The animal rights group behind the idea cites health and welfare benefits for pets, while top lawmakers, including Senate leadership, have not yet commented on whether they’ll pursue the bill.
