Whimsy Workshop with Bridget Murphy

Explore monotype printing to create your whimsical artwork. We will print freeform monotypes and combine materials to create chine collé, collage, hand-painted prints and/or notecards. Tme to be free and whimsical. Students will work on their own during the course. No experience necessary.

• Printmaking paper 

• Thin textured or colored papers or collage materials 

• Plexi plates, ink, tools, etc.

Student need to bring: 

• Personal, copyright free images to inspire you;

 • Thin textured or colored papers or collage materials (optional); 

• Items you want to explore using (sponge, stamps, etc.) 

• Standard size mailing envelopes (so notecards can be sized to envelope)

• Creative and playful ideas.
