Tools for Inner Peace: A Beginner’s Guide to Meditation for the New Year
Monday, January 12th, 7pm-8:15pm
With Kadam Peter
In today’s fast-paced and often stressful world, many of us are searching for practical ways to find calm, clarity, and balance. In this free public talk, you’ll be gently introduced to the basics of meditation in a way that is accessible, practical, and relevant to everyday life.
Designed especially for beginners, this talk will explain what meditation is, why it works, and how to start a simple daily practice even with a busy schedule. You’ll learn practical “tools for inner peace” that help reduce stress, improve focus, and cultivate a more positive state of mind.
After, there is an opportunity to tour the meditation room, browse our bookstore and enjoy delicious snacks.
No prior experience is needed—just bring your curiosity. Everyone is welcome, whether you’re completely new to meditation or looking for a fresh, meaningful approach.
