<p><strong>🚨 Urgent: Community members - Adopters and fosters are needed to save 20 dogs on the latest urgent list by Tuesday, 12/23. They all need to be adopted or have rescue commitment, and have to leave the shelter by Tuesday (or after spay/neuter.) If no one saves them, they will be euthanized due to being over capacity. Most of these dogs need homes outside of PG County.</strong><br><br>As of 12/18 AM: All 20 dogs need adopters and fosters! Rescues are interested and need fosters to save Gia, JoJo, and Love.. Check for updates at the Facebook links.</p>
<p><strong><strong>🐶</strong></strong>&nbsp;<strong><strong>Adopters: Please go to the shelter between 11am and 7pm (arrive by 6pm) on Thursday and Friday&nbsp;</strong></strong><strong><strong>to meet and adopt urgent dogs.</strong></strong>&nbsp;Adopters are able to meet 2 dogs and bring dogs for meet and greets.</p>
<p>*In order to apply to adopt a “terrier mix”, you must provide two original documents with matching addresses as proof of residency outside of PG County (due to breed specific legislation.)<br></p>
<p>🐶 <strong>Prospective fosters:</strong> Please apply to rescue partners, or with the shelter for certain dogs, to become a foster and save a life. Urgent dogs have to be&nbsp;fostered through a rescue, but certain dogs may be fostered through the shelter for this list. See the Friends' post for rescues seeking fosters for these dogs. Fostering is usually free with a rescue.</p>

<p>Well, sweet laugh-loving folks across the District, this is your invitation to join your favorite comedians and fellow comedy fans for an unforgettable night of holly-themed bits, jolly 'ol jokes, and comedy perfectly suited to the season.</p>
<p>Expect a show unlike anything else in town that feels more like a festive holiday party where everyone knows your name (or at least how to make you laugh). We'll have a little bit of everything comedy-wise with an "only at Kelly's" lineup that leaves you wanting more.</p>
<p>And good news, there IS more - because the whole DC comedy scene (performers and fans alike!) is invited to celebrate the season at Olive &amp; Arrow post-show. Clink glasses with your favorite improvisers. Enjoy an awkward pause in conversation with a random stand-up. Talk shop with the folks who do sketch. Or spend your time talking to a regular person at the bar -- that's cool too!</p>
<p>It all goes down at Olive &amp; Arrow, the hottest speakeasy in town (shhh!), located in the basement of the legendary Kelly's irish Times. O&amp;A has cooked up an unreal menu of holiday cocktails that'll fill ya with holiday cheer -- be sure to get there early so you can get your first sips in before the show!</p>
