Police said they've obtained a sample of Tamara Lynn Sytch's blood to determine if she was impaired when the deadly crash occurred.

ORMOND BEACH, FL — A fatal crash involving WWE Hall of Famer Tamara Lynn Sytch is under investigation by the Ormond Beach Police Department.

According to police, on March 25, around 8:28 p.m., officers responded to a three-car crash on North Yonge Street, just north of Granada Boulevard.

Police said two of the vehicles were stopped at a traffic light when a third vehicle, driven by Sytch, failed to stop and crashed directly into one of the stopped vehicles, causing it to then crash into the other vehicle in front of it.

The driver of the other vehicle involved was transported to Halifax Health Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. He has been identified as Julian Lafrancis Lasseter of Daytona Beach Shores, FL, police confirmed.

“Our hearts go out to the Lasseter family that lost their loved one in such a tragic event” Ormond Beach Police Chief Jesse Godfrey said in a news release. “Our goal at the Ormond Beach Police Department is to keep city roadways safe, so if you see a vehicle operating in a manner that leads you to believe the driver may be impaired, please don’t hesitate to call 911. You may just save someone’s life.”

Sytch was transported to Halifax Health Medical Center for treatment and later released after a search warrant was approved and executed to obtain a sample of her blood to determine if she was impaired when the crash happened, police said.

Police said the investigation may lead to criminal charges, which are pending toxicology results.

Stych was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2011, according to her wrestling bio.
