• ‘Temporary, part-time interim city manager' search, missed deadlines, city hall staffing add to Archer's issues (wcjb.com) — Archer’s city government is scrambling to hire a temporary, part-time interim city manager after the current interim manager went on medical leave, leaving just one employee in City Hall. At Monday’s commission meeting, leaders also acknowledged missing a key state deadline for financial reports, while still grappling with large debts and past financial mismanagement. A vote on the temporary manager is expected next Monday.
