• Atlantic Beach Residents Notice Improved Air Quality Following Wastewater Treatment Plant Upgrades (hoodline.com) — If you’ve noticed the air smelling better near Atlantic Beach’s wastewater plant, it’s thanks to new odor-control upgrades the city has rolled out. Repairs to BioAir units, new covers, fencing, and changes to sludge handling are already cutting the stench, with a few remaining projects still pending to further improve neighborhood air quality.
   

• Beaches Town Center pay-to-park pricing cut in half from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. (firstcoastnews.com) — Parking at Beaches Town Center in Atlantic and Neptune Beach is now cheaper midday, with the hourly rate cut from $5 to $2.50 between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. Atlantic Beach residents still get up to four hours free in their home city, while leaders continue working on long-term parking solutions for employees and seasonal crowds.
