The City of Aventura Brings Comedy and Spectacle to the Stage
At the Aventura Arts & Cultural Center on Valentine's Day Weekend
The City of Aventura invites audiences to enjoy an exciting lineup of live entertainment at the Aventura Arts & Cultural Center in February, featuring the laugh-out-loud musical comedy Disenchanted! and the mesmerizing, family-friendly Aluminum Show.
Forget the heartwarming stories audiences have come to know and love about original storybook heroines as they’re none-too-happy with how they’ve been portrayed in pop culture. Prepare for a night of laughter as Disenchanted! takes the stage on Thursday, February 13, and Friday, February 14, at 8 p.m. at the Aventura Arts & Cultural Center. In this cleverly crafted production, these royal renegades are ready to share their hilarious—and empowering truths through song. Production is developed by Fiely Matias with book, music and lyrics by Dennis T. Giacino. Disenchanted! is a witty and satirical take on fairy tale characters that will have audiences laughing out loud. Don’t miss this unforgettable evening of musical comedy, presented by Marcie Gorman & MNM Theatre.
After more than a decade of touring worldwide, Aluminum Group is thrilled to present the world premiere of the spectacular, new Aluminum Show. Once hailed as “a fascinating show, the energy is amazing… something I’ve never seen before,” by Fox News, The Aluminum Show is a one-of-a-kind attraction that’s not to be missed with two performances on February 16 at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. at the Aventura Arts & Cultural Center. Suitable for all audiences and language, The Aluminum Show is the story of one man’s incredible journey to a parallel universe and a futuristic planet made entirely of aluminum. Audiences will marvel as aluminum pipes come to life, transforming into mysterious, playful and imaginative characters right before their eyes. Praised as “one of a kind” by Broadway World and “an amazing visual show” by BBC News, The Aluminum Show promises an unforgettable experience for the entire family. The new show is written and directed by Lior Kalfo, with choreography by Ido Tadmor, one of Israel’s foremost choreographers and under the artistic direction of Ilan Azriel, co-creator of the international Aluminum Show.
