1 Minor Killed, 1 Adult Killed In Riverview Shooting: Deputies
Two people are dead following an argument between a group in a car and a group of bicyclists Monday night in Riverview, officers said.
RIVERVIEW, FL — A minor and an adult were killed Monday night when they were shot in a Riverview neighborhood during a fight between two groups, the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office said.
Following an argument with a group of bicyclists, the group in the car, pulled up to a minor male on his bike before 10 p.m. on Tribute Drive, and the fight continued with him, investigators said. At some point during the interaction, shots were fired that caused the male driver to go about 150 yards and crash the vehicle. The adult male died from wounds caused by being shot in the upper body, according to authorities. The minor male also died from gunshot injuries to the upper body.
One of the female passengers experienced minor injuries after she was shot, and the other female passenger, a minor, experienced minor injuries from the crash.

"We do not believe this was a random act," Sheriff Chad Chronister said. "Neighbors do not need to be concerned for their safety. All those involved in this incident are accounted for."
