Car Flips Over On Big Bend Road, Kills Passenger: Highway Patrol
Troopers investigated a fatal crash Saturday night that occurred on the Big Bend Road exit on Interstate-75 southbound. The driver survived.
HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, FL — A Brandon man was killed Saturday night in a single-car crash that caused the vehicle he was in to flip over into a tree line off Interstate-75, Florida Highway Patrol said.
The car, driven be a 31-year-old woman of Brandon, ran off the road on the curve at the Big Bend Road exit ramp on I-75 southbound at about 11:40 p.m., troopers said. The victim was in the passenger seat. Once the car got off the road, it went down the embankment and then flipped over into a nearby tree line. The 43-year-old man died at the crash location, according to authorities.
The driver experienced minor injuries.
