Datz Restaurant Celebrates Riverview Grand Opening Virtually

BLOOMINGDALE-RIVERVIEW — Datz Restaurant and members of the Greater Riverview Chamber of Commerce celebrated the award-winning restaurant's grand opening virtually on Thursday, May 14. The ribbon-cutting ceremony was streamed on Facebook Live with over 9,000 views on the day of the event, said a news release. The restaurant staff said they are thrilled to be open in the Riverview area and appreciate the community's support.

Craft beers, food dishes with bacon and cheese, a variety of entrees and house-made breads are featured on their menu. They also offer a cocktail menu with artisanal liquors. Datz has been featured on Food Network, Cooking Channel, Good Morning America, Travel Channel and FYI.

Datz is following the Center For Disease Control guidelines and operating under Florida's full phase one where restaurants are allowed to operate at 50 percent capacity.

Daniel Cyral, the 2020 honorary mayor of Riverview delivered a proclamation, and recognized May 14 as Datz Restaurant Group - Riverview Day. He told the attendees and online viewers that they serve craveable, delectable and eatable handcrafted munchies.

Datz is located at 6264 Winthrop Town Centre Avenue, Riverview. They are at the Winthrop Town Centre next door to Winthrop Liquors. There are also Datz locations in Tampa and St. Pete. Online ordering is currently unavailable at the Riverview location, however the full menu is available for viewing.
