Day Remains For Residents Give Input On Waterset Sports Complex
The county wants to know what sports the community would like to play at the 84-acre complex now under construction.

APOLLO BEACH, FL — Residents have one more day to give Hillsborough County government their thoughts on what sports will use the new 84-acre Waterset Sports Complex.
The county is running an online survey Sunday, March 26. Residents without digital access are encouraged to call the county's main information line, 813-272-5900.
The Waterset Sports Complex, 6110 Waterset Blvd., Apollo Beach, features four synthetic-turf athletic fields, making it home to one of the largest contiguous synthetic turf fields in the nation. The fields will be able to support a variety of recreational sports and activities including soccer, football, lacrosse, kickball and cricket.

In addition to the fields, the first phase of construction features a playground, pavilions, LED lighting, a concession building with restrooms, offices, meeting space and parking for more than 500 vehicles.
The county is surveying residents about their recreational sports needs and preferences. The results will help the Hillsborough County Parks & Recreation Department create programs at the complex that cater to the activities residents will want most.
