Get Exercise, Have Fun Competition At 2021 Active Life Games

BLOOMINGDALE — RIVERVIEW, FL — Residents 50 and older have until Friday to register for the 2021 Active Life Games, according to a news release.

The event promotes physical and mental fitness through an Olympics-style competition that attracts many people each year. Registration closes the end of Friday, Sept. 24. It costs $15 for one event or $25 for unlimited events. There is an additional $25 charge for those participating in the golf competition, which includes a cart. This year’s games will be held Oct. 4-12. In addition to being a lot of fun and a great way to stay in shape, the games serve as a regional qualifier for the Florida Senior Games. The 2020 Active Life Games were canceled because of the COVID-19 pandemic. The 2021 Active Life Games will follow CDC and County safety protocols.
