Family Time Carnival of Music

Musical Beginnings with Jenn Sifferman will host a Kindermusik class, Family Time Carnival of Music, Thursdays, Jan. 31 to Feb. 21 at 10 a.m. at Gumballs & Overalls, 3239 Lithia-Pinecrest Rd., Valrico.

Another class is scheduled on Saturdays at 10 a.m. from Feb. 2 to Feb. 23.

The class is geared for newborns through children five years old.

This month's story will feature Barley Bear and his daylong quest to find a piece of shoo-fly pie at the fair. Children will read about Barley and talk about his willingness to wait and be patient in the middle of the fun fair distractions.

Parents will receive a Home Kit that includes more activities to help children feel comfortable in group-play and group-learning situations. The kit includes an egg shaker, CD and story.

The cost is $55.00 for the month or $13.75 per class.
