The Riverview Branch Library, 10509 Riverview Dr. in Riverview will host the puppet show, "The Emperor And The Nightingale," Wednesday, Nov. 28 at 10:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
In far away China, the emperor and his court are enchanted by the beautiful song of the nightingale. Disappointed with the nightingale's plain appearance, the emperor chooses an ornately bejeweled mechanical bird. Years later, he learns to value the real treasure: the nightingale's melody.
The show is for children in kindergarten through fifth grade.
