FL Bar Pours Beers To Honor 13 Service Members Killed In Kabul
The staff of Beanie's Bar & Sports Grill honored 13 fallen service members by placing glasses of beer at an empty table.
RUSKIN, FL — A table with beer at a Ruskin restaurant honors the service of 13 U.S. military members who were killed in a suicide bombing outside the Kabul airport Thursday.
Thirteen beers sit atop the table at Beanie’s Bar & Sports Grill, 2002 U.S. Highway in Ruskin, to remember the 11 Marines, one Navy veteran and one Army veteran who lost their lives in the terror attack.
"This was a combination of all our staff that got together and said we need to do something for these people that sacrificed their lives for us … and to mourn the families that lost the loved ones,” Donald “Beanie” Tichy told WFLA.

Tichy told the TV outlet that the staff knew they had to do something to honor the fallen.
The restaurant has received more than 800 "Likes" on its Facebook status that showed the special table with a sign, "Reserved, This table will be reserved all weekend to honor our 13 Fallen Heroes."

"Thank you, Beanies for supporting and honoring our American Heroes," Annette Bush posted on Facebook. As a daughter of a POW (Prisoner of War) and a mom of a retired soldier who's been over there, I appreciate this so much."
The suicide bombing at the gates of Hamid Karzai International Airport took the lives of more than 180 people, including 13 U.S. Service members who were killed in the blast in the Afghanistan capital city of Kabul, according to a tweet from The Military Times.
Thursday's bombing, blamed on an Afghan offshoot of the Islamic State group, marked one of the most lethal terror attacks the country has ever seen. U.S. officials said it was also the deadliest day for American forces in Afghanistan since 2011.
