Greater Riverview Chamber Celebrates Cali Café’s Re-Grand Opening
The café had only been open a few months when it had to shut down due to the pandemic.

On Friday, October 30th, 2020, Greater Riverview Chamber of Commerce (GRCC) members & Cali Café customers joined to celebrate Cali Café’s Re-Grand Opening. Cali Cafe provided an array of delicious bite size sweet & savory pastries to those in attendance. They really hit it out of the park with their Halloween decoration display! Rick Oliveros and Claudia Durango, Owners of Cali Cafe, were there to greet guests and share their appreciation of the communities’ support. Cali Cafe in Riverview opened their doors on January 9th, 2020. Shortly after their grand opening is when the coronavirus pandemic swept the nation which resulted in shutdown of restaurants & cafes. With the Riverview community slowly re-opening, they celebrate their re-grand opening with much confidence and great goals for the future! Cali Café specializes in Colombian fare. They serve Colombian pastries, breads, and savory Colombian snacks produced by their personal chef every morning. Their chef has over 50 years of experience in the business and makes every menu item fresh and with love. Cali Café also specializes in their Colombian coffee that is exported directly from Colombia to the store. Their 2 popular types of coffee are arabica and robusto. There was a proclamation delivered by 2020 Honorary Mayor of Riverview – Daniel Cyral and translation by Joe Zuniga, Zuniga Marketing, Inc. Daniel recognized October 30, 2020 to be Cali Cafe Day and reminded all who were in attendance that at Cali Cafe, it is our pleasure to serve you!
