Website Reports UFO Sighting in Riverview

A website that hosts discussions about Unidentified Flying Objects, or UFOs, recently published a report about a sighting in Riverview.

On the site ufostalker.com, a user claims they were in their parked car, just off of U.S. 301 in Riverview, near Bloomingdale Ridge Road on Jan. 31, when they saw "what first looked like a flock of white birds or balloons, but in a very strange pattern and moving slowly and all in unison." They say they had pulled over to make a business call when they spotted something odd.

The user writes that they began to look at the objects using binoculars that were in the car. "They appeared to be round white lights with a somewhat reddish tint, with 2 dark, solid triangular fixed appendages on each side. They all looked exactly the same with one or 2 drifting away at times and then a few drifting back in to join the rest."

After putting down the binoculars for a while, the person reports that the objects were gone. They estimate that they looked at the UFOs for about five minutes.

The person says they heard about a similar sighting of a "fleet of UFOs" on television. After spending a few days thinking about what they saw, the person says that they are confident they were not just looking at birds. "In my opinion, (I saw) unidentified flying objects for sure," they conclude.
