Man Shot At Students Near High School: Hillsborough County Sheriff
A man faces multiple charges after shooting at students near a Riverview high school after a fight broke out, Hillsborough sheriff said.

RIVERVIEW, FL — A man faces multiple charges after shooting at students near a Riverview high school on Feb. 14, according to a Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office news release.
Jahfahree Edwards, 24, was arrested Friday and charged with four counts of second-degree attempted murder with a firearm, four counts of aggravated assault with intent to commit a felony with a weapon, being a felon in possession of a firearm, and throwing a deadly missile within or into a vehicle.
Edwards was seen on surveillance footage shooting at students down the street from Spoto High School after a fight broke out, the sheriff’s office said.

During their investigation, detectives learned that Edwards was staying with a family member in the 13000 block of Flame Wood Court in Tampa, where he was taken into custody.
"I stand relieved knowing that this violent criminal is no longer a threat to our community," Sheriff Chad Chronister said. "While we're grateful that no one fell victim to his actions, let this serve as a reminder that there's no refuge for those who choose to cause chaos. Committing crimes like this will not go unpunished."
