Man Wanted On Attempted Murder Charges In Riverview: Sheriff
A suspect is on the run after deputies accused him of shooting a man in Riverview June 28 near Windermere Apartments.

BLOOMINGDALE — RIVERVIEW, FL — A warrant has been issued for a 38-year-old suspect who is accused of attempted murder June 28 in Riverview, Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office said.
Carlos Diaz is accused of shooting a man at the intersection of South 78th Street and Tidewater Trail before 1:15 p.m., authorities said. After the victim was shot, he went to Windermere Apartments, 9474 Windermere Lake Drive, Riverview, and contacted police.
Diaz is likely driving a blue Honda Accord with Florida tag NSFI10. The victim is expected to make a full recovery from his injuries, deputies said.

"This appears to be an isolated incident at this time, but I want to stress the importance of calling the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office if you have seen or know where this suspect is currently located," Sheriff Chad Chronister said. "This dangerous individual must be held accountable for his egregious actions."
