New Business Pops Into Riverview With Gourmet Popcorn

RIVERVIEW, FL — Popcorn lovers have a new place to satisfy their cravings.
The Popcorn Spot is now open at 7441 U.S. 301 in Riverview, next to Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse,offering more than 40 savory, sweet and specialty flavors of gourmet popcorn along with all-natural hand-scooped ice cream, specialty gummy bears and sodas in retro glass bottles.
The family-owned business pops and prepares its flavored popcorn daily, offering such unusual concoctions as smoky barbecue, dill pickle, cheesy caramel, jalapeno cheddar, turtle (caramel corn and chopped pecans drizzled with chocolate), tuxedo (caramel corn drizzled with white and dark chocolate) and the Chicago mix (cheddar and caramel) in snack, small, medium and large sizes.
